	RIO Windcutter® II Versitip Spey Lines RIO has the most comprehensive array of floating and interchangeable tip spey lines to fulfill the needs of every situation, every spey rod design and every casting ability. A technical booklet covering setup and use is included with all Spey lines. RIO Windcutter® II Versitip WindCutter® II Spey • Improved for 2009 The original spey line, frequently imitated, never bettered. For 2009 the line features RIO’s XS Technology™ for an extraordinarily slick, dirt-repelling coating. It has an easy loading head between 48 ft (14.7 m) – 56 ft (17.1 m) (depending on the size) and is the most versatile of all Spey lines. The WindCutter II is available in five formats: A full floating line with a welded loop at the front end for attaching RIO’s VersiLeaders to. A VersiTip line with a body and a selection of 15 ft (4,6 m) tips. These tips are: floating, clear intermediate (1.5 ips, 4 cm/s), DC Type 3 (3 ips, 8 cm/s), DC Type 6 (6 ips, 15 cm/s) and DC Type 8 (8 ips, 20 cm/s) sinking tip. RIO has improved the VersiTip version for 2009 by removing the loop connection between the body and tip 2 that has been standard in the past. We feel the increased performance this offers in casting is justified now as Skagit or AFS giving better alternatives for deep fishing than the compensator.
