His one-to-one half day casting clinics are proving very popular - the lesson is tailored to your requirements, whether it be single or double haul, single and double Spey casting or distance casting Stevie is regularly asked to coach top casters who are preparing for an upcoming championships - so if you are angler who wants to smooth out your casting take a few tips from Stevie. 

If you have never tried fly-fishing before then you can learn the basic casting technique in just a few hours. When you're finished, you'll be a competent caster and have a working knowledge of all the tackle you need to start fishing on your own. 

Perhaps you've already started and are having trouble with your casting... or maybe you're baffled by terms like 'single and double haul', 'snake rolls single' and 'double Spey'. Stevie will gear your lesson towards your specific needs. Whether it's just the basic cast or distance casting, your lesson will cover it (and more) and will be conducted in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.

World Casting Awards and Events 

Stevie has won fly casting competitions including Two Accuracy Casting Championships in England in the 1990s and at Blenheim Palace CLA game fair 2011, Stevie helped set a New World record in single hand fly casting, which was done in aid of the charity, Help the Heroes. He then was invited to Argentina, to fish and demonstrate at the world-famous event Rio Grande Fly Fishers TDF Argentina . Stevie has given lessons and demos at many of the world’s élite events including the World of Fly Fishing Germany, The CLA Game Fairs England, Angling Ireland, Irish Game Fairs, The Dutch Fly Fair, The British Fly Fair and is the founder of The Irish Fly Fair Irelands biggest fly fishing event.

Stevie is a qualified Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor in Fly Tying and Fly Casting with APGAI-Ireland in which he hold the top levels, and a APGAI fly casting instructor and teaches fly casting and fly tying to all levels from beginner to advanced.

• Fly casting tuition is offered on a one-to-one basis or you can bring friends to a maximum of 2 people.
